The H2IOSC project is pleased to announce a new opportunity for researchers: the Transnational Access Fellowship Programme. This programme offers to applicants a fellowship grant to support research collaborations and knowledge exchange between OPERAS member institutions to the H2IOSC operating unit, or vice versa.
Suggested Topics for Proposals
Applicants are encouraged to submit proposals that focus on one or more of the following topics:
- Application of FAIR principles to research data;
- Open Science and Open publishing in Italy;
- Development of ontologies;
- Multilingualism;
- Design and creation of marketplaces;
- Methodologies for managing data and resources in the MarketPlace according to FAIR principles.
Access to Italy H2IOSC Operating Units
Researchers can apply for fellowships to two Italian Operating Units:
- CNR ILIESI | Rome
- CNR ISPF | Naples
These visits offer hands-on access to cutting-edge digital tools, expert support, and research environments focused on FAIR data, open publishing, digital editions, and more.
Access from Italy to European OPERAS Institutions
Researchers based in Italy are also eligible to visit OPERAS member institutions across Europe to develop cross-border collaborations and gain access to European expertise and infrastructure.
Acceptable costs
Fellowships grants will be provided to cover housing and subsistence costs, as well as travel expenses to and from an eligible host institution, according to OPERAS policy.
Note: these visits cover mobility only from and to Italy. Does not include visits from OPERAS AISBL to National Nodes or between National Node
Duration of Fellowship
Successful applicants may be expected to join the chosen host for a period of 1 up to 5 weeks.
How to Apply
The call is open until August 2025. Grants will be awarded on a rolling basis until funds are exhausted.
