DARIAH-IT actively participated in the annual DARIAH event in Lisbon, Portugal, from 18-21 June 2024, focusing on the theme ‘Workflows: Digital Methods for Reproducible Research Practices in the Arts and Humanities’. The event offered the Italian node the opportunity to meet with the organisers, listen to various presentations and participate in round tables and networking activities.
DARIAH-IT’s participation in the event made it possible to strengthen the international network of contacts and to establish potential future collaborations.
The team represented the Italian node in internal DARIAH meetings on the first day, actively contributing to discussions and sharing their experiences. Furthermore, it had the opportunity to get in touch with those responsible for community engagement activities and DARIAH-EU strategy, fostering a valuable exchange of ideas and knowledge.
During the dedicated poster session, the role of DARIAH-IT in the context of the H2IOSC project was presented, both through a graphical poster and a brief abstract on the theme “Supporting digitally enhanced scientific workflows in a clustered Infrastructure: H2IOSC.”
Building on the H2IOSC project, DARIAH-IT shared its experiences and insights to facilitate discussions and promote collaboration among researchers from various disciplines in the social sciences and humanities fields. Advancing research and promoting the use of digital tools and methods to improve collaboration and reproducibility in research practice is the main message of these conference days.
